Task
This was a group participation with 3 members and we proposed a solution to control and monitor riot situation remotely. This was done using a quad copter equipped with tear gas grande and a video camera. The interchangeable design allowed using same quad copter to deliver medicine or food-packet during natural calamities.
Results
We successfully built quad copter which had payload of 3 kg, a video camera, a fingerprint sensor, a mechanism to hold and deploy tear gas grande. The quad-copter was able to go to selected location on map and come back to home location by itself. Also, fail safe mode brings quad-copter home during signal loss or low battery conditions.
The team won state & zonal rounds and selected for national round which was held in Pune, India. The team won total price money of ₹ 40k.
